The director of the Centre of Laboratory Medicine is Professor Natela Nadiradze.

 

A specialized coagulation laboratory functions in this Centre, the aim of which is the clinical diagnosis of different kinds of thrombosis, coronary, cerebral vascular, thrombophilia, coagulation, hemostasis disturbances, selection of target tests in the process of surgery pathologies, creation of the data bank of hemostasis ancestral disturbances in order to avoid coagulophatics, selection of appropriate medicines and their usage, clinical probations of anticoagulation medicaments, holding educational trainings according to the teaching programmes of the International Society of hemostasis. Students of the School of Dentistry are involved in scientific work of this centre as well as in international training.

 

This centre is unique not only because of its technical facilities, but of the specificity of research.
