From September 30 to October 2, 2011 Grigol Robakidze University, Georgian University of St. Andrews and Georgian-American Cultural Centre are holding the international scientific conference dedicated to the creative heritage of the well-known Georgian writer, producer and playwright Goderdzi Chokheli. The conference aims to present the main problem of Mr. Chokheli’s creative work and its translations in Japanese, English, Italian, German and Azerbaijan languages. Specialists of Georgian language and translators from Germany, Japan, Austria, US, England, Italy, Azerbaijan and Russia will participate in the conference. Within the scope of the programme is planned to organize cultural events dedicated to Goderdzi Chokhelis’s memory. The conference is blessed by Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.
