You may feel certain confusion and discomfort when one day you find yourself in unusual surroundings. That is why it is not surprising that the process of adaptation of junior students is often followed by difficulties. It happens so that “experienced” students also have some problems. They also need advice on different subjects including their personal problems.

Counseling Service Bureau has two branches: personal counselling bureau and academic counsel.

Personal Counsel
Personal Counselling Bureau was purposely set up to help you cope with personal problems, depression, high emotions,etc.

Experienced and highly qualified psychologists offer their help working individually and with groups as well. They will make you see your problems in another comparatively easier way and thus make you solve these problems in absolute confidentiality. Service is free.


Academic Counsel
It is not new to say that the educational system of universities differs from school education. Furthermore, we lead the academic process using new technologies. Studying itself is very hard human behavior that involves different cognition processes, some being already developed and clarified and some still vague. One should know how to coordinate and operate these processes using his/her own better-developed habits. Besides, you should remember that studying is not just swatting and retelling. It is a research process, critical perception and analysis of facts and events.

Unfortunately, schools cannot always manage to develop these habits in students. Consequently, junior students at universities often have difficulties in their first essays, seminars or presentations. They also have problems in writing. The latter can be considered to be a problem not only in Georgia. Famous universities abroad also offer the similar service to their students.

The Counselling Bureau arranges special training for you. You will certainly not participate if you do not need such help. However, if you discover lack of some habits necessary for successful studying in you, we can offer you our help. Unlike personal counsel, academic counsel is not free. It is 20 GEL for our university students and 100 GEL for others.
